The III International Architecture Award DOM3 Prize

will show the development of one of the best plots in Estepona

The third edition of this international contest aims to create a high-quality homes on a plot of more than 10,000 square meters in the area of ?? La Cala in Estepona.

The prize of € 60,000 will be received by the architect or team of architects that wins the contest. In addition, as in the previous editions, the category of Superior Architecture for students including both Spanish and foreign students, was also announced. The winner of this category will receive a check for € 3,000.

The main sponsor of the III DOM3PRIZE is Dei Homes, a real estate group that puts at the disposal of the contest a plot with an area of ??more than 3,000 square meters and a built area of ??more than 10,000 square meters, located on the seafront in the area of La Cala in Estepona. The object of the contest on this occasion will be the development of high quality apartments.

The period for registration and presentation of the works will remain open until May 16 at 2:00 p.m., so that the aspiring projects can be delivered in the place designated by the Association DOM3. Those interested can consult all the information on the bases, terms and other technical details on the web www.dome3.es. The jury’s decision will be made public on June 14, 2018 during a gala dinner to which the finalists will be invited.

The president of DOM3, Laura Pou, thanked DEI-HOMES for the trust given by them and for offering the association one of the last remaining plots of these characteristics that can be found along the coast of Marbella and Estepona, to develop for the contest. This exceptional location, added the president, will undoubtedly attract more participants. Pou recalled that the first edition of DOM3PRIZE, held in 2014, was aimed at the construction of a villa in La Zagaleta, the DOM3PRIZE 2016 edition was the development of a plot in the Santa Clara area of ??Marbella, “so it was a priority for the DOM3 Association that in this edition the contest will take place in Estepona, a city that is part of the ‘Golden triangle’ and area of ??activity of the entrepreneurs that make up the DOM3 Association and which is formed by Marbella, Benahavis and Estepona. ” For his part, the head of DEI-Homes, Antonio Bazán, thanked the DOM3 Association for allowing them to make available the III International Architecture Prize DOM3PRIZE for the plot for the development for the contest as well as being the main sponsors, which he described as ” a great opportunity to start the company, as the prize has become a meeting point for architecture of the highest international standard, having passed through it in its different editions more than 300 professional architects and teams from around thirty different nationalities “He commented.
