The Marbella City Council requests the collaboration of DOM3 to promote improvements in infrastructure, cleanliness, and public safety
The high-end housing business association, DOM3, has kicked off the season by revisiting the sector's demands and presenting the current situation to the Marbella City Council, aiming to ensure prompt action is taken to improve aspects of the city that could hinder its growth.
In this context, the association’s president, Charly Simon, and vice president, Manuel Burgos, have met with the city’s mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, to assess the situation, offer the group’s collaboration, and present the entrepreneurs' initiatives to tackle key challenges such as public safety, cleanliness, and infrastructure.
Un fructífero encuentro en el que se ha puesto en valor la importancia de la A public-private collaboration, during which the DOM3 board had the opportunity to raise some of the most frequent complaints from both the clients of the associated companies and the business owners themselves. These concerns include the lack of cleanliness in certain areas of the city, the increase in insecurity in recent years, and the lack of mobility infrastructure, which results in continuous traffic jams at key points throughout the year.
“The City Council must take immediate action to resolve these issues, which affect not only the high-end housing sector but society as a whole, and could also pose a hindrance to the growth trend the city is currently experiencing,” commented Charly Simon.
During the meeting, DOM3 extended an offer of collaboration to urgently address the modernisation of infrastructure, improve urban mobility, and strengthen security. This comes at a time when the rise of the high-end housing sector is generating new demands in terms of public services and amenities.
"At DOM3, we are committed to working hand in hand with the City Council to find effective solutions that contribute to the sustainable growth of our city. Marbella is a global benchmark, and it is a shared responsibility to ensure it remains an attractive destination for both residents and investors. Our clients demand high standards of excellence not only in their homes but also in the surrounding environment,” added the president.
