Business agility, new training by DOM3 to optimise the performance of companies in the high-end housing market
Achieving business agility is a key factor in optimising the performance of companies in the high-end housing market. This is one of the main conclusions drawn by architect Caterina de La Portilla at the training day for DOM3 members.
With a lecture titled 'Keys to an Agile Company,' the renowned architect demonstrated to business leaders the importance of thinking in systems (strategies) rather than tasks (reactions), as well as the appropriateness of creating necessary roles for company operations rather than adapting functions to individuals.
"Only in this way can a company acquire fully automated mechanisms, creating a solid structure with positions that can be filled by different individuals, allowing the company to grow without the need for constant supervision or presence of the owner," De La Portilla commented.
The training day, which brought together around fifty entrepreneurs, focused on the system established by Leaders for Architecture, a community of professionals in the field founded by De La Portilla to help entrepreneurs advance their careers.
The system devised by this collective is based on four headings: increase in sales, profitability, status, and wellbeing. "To achieve these goals, it is necessary to implement diverse systems such as an automated marketing strategy, a predictable service system, an exceptional team system, and a disciplined investment system," pointed out the expert in creating agile companies, noting that "what is not measured, does not improve."
De la Portilla is a pioneer in the implementation of the PRO2 training system (Profitable Business Growth Strategy Program in Architecture), an advanced consultancy tool that offers companies leadership strategies, project management techniques, decision-making tools, and business keys to adapt to changes and seize new opportunities.
This lecture is part of the training meeting calendar launched by DOM3 to boost the business activities of its members, generate synergies, and share knowledge. This series of conferences, which will continue in May with a day on organisational happiness, began with an interesting talk on effort and perseverance by tennis coach Toni Nadal.
