The Business Association for High Quality Housing
chooses Malaga to hold the 4th DOM3 Strategic Forum
After having held in Estepona the 1st and 3rd edition (2015 and 2019) and in Marbella the 2nd edition (2017), the DOM3 Association chooses Malaga for this professional meeting to be held on 1 April 2022 in the Edgar Neville Auditorium.
Malaga and Marbella. Architecture in perspective’ is the motto of the IV DOM3 Strategic Forum which will bring together a group of prestigious architects.
The emergence of Malaga as a holiday and residential destination and as a technological and cultural centre has led the Association of Businessmen for High Quality Housing to make the capital of the Costa del Sol the ideal place to host the fourth edition of the DOM3 Strategic Forum.
Malaga and Marbella, Architecture in Perspective”, will take place on Friday 1 April 2022 in the Edgar Neville Auditorium in Malaga and aims to reflect on the future of architecture and high-end residential tourism, helping to increase the quality of the future supply of this type of housing in this area.
For the president of the DOM3 Association, Laura Pou, Malaga is taking on a more than relevant role in the international launch of the association’s area of action – Marbella, Estepona, Benahavís, “that’s why we have decided to join forces by organising this year’s Forum in the Costa del Sol capital”.
Thus, for DOM3, the main objectives of this professional meeting are: to promote research and innovation in the design and construction of high-end housing; to associate the brand Malaga, Marbella and its surroundings with a prestigious business event and to project DOM3 as an influential association in the social and political sphere, in order to influence strategic decisions affecting the sector.
On this occasion, the forum programme will consist of four presentations on architecture and will be closed by a round table discussion. The guest speakers at this edition are César Frías, of Morph Estudio, who will speak on Industrialised Architecture; Fuensanta Nieto, of Estudio Nieto y Sobejano, whose intervention will deal with Rehabilitation Architecture; Álvaro Carrillo, of Álvaro Carrillo Arquitectos, whose talk will deal with Vernacular Architecture; and Ramón Esteve, of Ramón Esteve Estudio, who will address the subject of Residential Architecture. The opening ceremony will be led by the president of the group, the landscape architect Laura Pou, as well as local and provincial authorities and the representative of Caixabank, Juan Ignacio Zafra, the main sponsor of the event.

The day will also feature the round table discussion “New languages of space and form”, with the participation of architects Salvador Moreno Peralta, José Seguí and Francisco Guillén; Daniel Caballero, corporate director of Real Estate Business and Developments of Caixabank and Rosa Sánchez, Deputy Mayor Delegate for Tourism, City Promotion and Investment Attraction of Malaga City Council.
The organisers are expecting around 300 people to attend, including professionals from the sector, business people, as well as regional, local and provincial authorities.
