First Edition of the DOM3 International Architecture Prize
This morning, Sofía Polo (President of DOM3), Jacobo Cestino (General Director of La Zagaleta) and official sponsor of the Prize (presented the first edition of the architecture competition, “DOM3 Prize Architectural Excellence Marbella” to members of the press at the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella.
The aim of the DOM3 Prize (officially sponsored in its first edition by La Zagaleta, the prestigious residential complex located in Benahavis, Malaga), is to promote the luxury villa sector in Marbella, Benahavis and Estepona. The aim is to strengthen and consolidate the Brand comprising these areas into a standard bearer for residential tourism at an international level.
Through the international call for competitors for the competition, architects from various nationalities will be able to participate in the creation of a unique architectural project that highlights the high-end villa as the maximum exponent of design, quality and location. The aim is to unify architecture, landscaping and interior design in one sole creation, within the most exclusive real estate setting in Europe.
The competition will take place over the following three months. The Jury’s decision will be announced on 27th June. The winning architect will take home €40,000 and the subsequent construction of the home they have designed, on a parcel located within La Zagaleta.
