Creativity and Critical Thinking: Key to Thriving in the Artificial Intelligence Revolution

• DOM3 Association hosts a training event featuring AI specialist Jesús Hijas.

• The session began with a market analysis by the associate company DM Properties.

DOM3, an association representing top professionals in the luxury real estate sector, recently organized an exclusive meeting at the Villa Padierna Hotel for its members. The highlight of this event was a presentation on Artificial Intelligence, focusing on enhancing creativity in the era of AI, delivered by specialist Jesús Hijas.

Jesús Hijas, a Telecommunications Engineer with over 15 years of experience in international companies, spanning technical project management to product, partnership, and marketing roles, emphasized the human aspect and the importance of fostering creativity. He believes, “Technology is driving the disruptive changes in our lives, more rapidly and profoundly. This is why I love technology - I understand it, am curious about it, and can communicate it simply, catering to human needs and evolution. Working with technology has taught me that learning is not just a phase of life, but a lifelong journey.”

Hijas stressed that to stay ahead in the Artificial Intelligence revolution, two skills are paramount in the ongoing learning process for everyone, particularly entrepreneurs: creativity and critical thinking. He pointed out that AI is not a system for generating knowledge or information but rather for compiling existing information. Hijas encouraged the audience to embrace AI as a tool for enhancing daily work while prioritizing human abilities to generate emotions, creativity, and critical thinking over the solutions offered by this technology.

Charly Simon, the President of DOM3, presented a gift to founding member Diana Morales in celebration of her birthday.

The event was managed by Belén González from BEEX, a collaborator of DOM3. The opening presentation was delivered by Mariano Beristain of DM Properties Knight Frank, who provided an overview of the luxury real estate market in the area.

Beristain highlighted that Spain has become the top destination for luxury home purchases by Europe's wealthiest individuals, with buyers in Marbella and Málaga accounting for 33% of all real estate transactions.

He also noted that while overall home sales in 2023 are declining, the drop in Málaga province, under 15%, is not alarming as 2022 was an exceptional year for sales, and the market is now returning to normalcy.

Furthermore, Beristain reaffirmed the Golden Mile as the most sought-after and expensive area on the Costa del Sol, stating that one million euros can only purchase 68 square meters there.

For DM Properties, the success of high-end housing in this area lies in meeting buyers' expectations regarding services and infrastructure: international schools, gated communities with security, sustainable construction, and more.

Charly Simon, President of DOM3, took the opportunity to thank the sponsors for their support of the event, including Aalto Exclusive Design, DM Properties Knight Frank, Decodan Studio, Idealista, and Anantara Villa Padierna. He also expressed gratitude to regular collaborators such as One2One, BEEX, Puente Romano, Imagen Advertising Agency, and Bentley Marbella.

The event coincided with the birthday of DOM3 founding member Diana Morales, also the founder of DM Properties. The executive team celebrated this occasion by presenting her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
