ALEJANDRO GIMÉNEZ ARCHITECTS
PROJECT: CALLE SEVILLA

Alejandro Giménez Architects has carried out a project called Calle Sevilla. On one of the most traditional streets in Estepona’s old town, we find this little terraced house that has become a refuge for its owners.

For this project, we kept the original façade and played with traditional materials and contemporary spaces in the interior. All the floors are connected by a black metal staircase that gives character to the house thanks to its fine profiles and handcrafted design.

As Alejandro Giménez Architects explain, the ground floor was designed as an open space where we find a kitchen that opens to the living room and the sitting room, ending in an Andalusian patio covered in Bougainvilleas. This patio floods the house with natural light and fresh air.

The bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor are spaces where wood and textures work in harmony to achieve peaceful atmospheres.

On the roof of the property, we find a terrace that enjoys the mountain views that Estepona has to offer. Gesmacon Construcciones also took part in the project.
